As an experienced birth doula; having supported over 160 families over the last 9 years, I have complete confidence in helping to empower you during the most transformational journey of your life. I draw on professional training, knowledge, and experience to provide emotional support, physical comfort, and as needed, communication with your care team. My goal is to ensure that you have the information you need to make informed decisions as they arise during your pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience. I can provide reassurance and perspective to you and your partner, make suggestions for labor progress, help with relaxation, soothing touch, positioning, and other techniques for comfort. I am an independent entity, and as your doula- I am working for you, not your caregiver or hospital.
It is my priority to make every effort to ensure I provide the services listed below, and that you are 100% satisfied with my support.
· One complimentary consultation over a video-call to ensure you are comfortable hiring me as your doula. In person consultations are available for a small fee of $30 in Gloucester or Yorktown.
· Use of my lending library of books during pregnancy. Ask me what books I have available, as they are constantly being cycled amongst clients. I will make every effort to ensure you are able to read what books are of most interest to you.
· Items from my birth bag during birth. My birth bag consists of my rebozo (which I will demonstrate during our prenatal), heat packs, cold wash cloths with lavender and peppermint essential oils, a handheld fan, handheld mirror, honey sticks and/or electrolyte powder for energy, LED string lights to set a soothing mood, laminated handmade positive birth affirmations to hang around your birth space, my birth ball, peanut ball and more!
· I provide evidence based research on pregnancy and labor topics, information about interventions and local resources to help set you up for success.
· I help you develop your birth wishes to go over with your care provider.
· I provide one in depth prenatal visit (approx. 3 hours) at your home where we get to know each other, review the childbirth process, discuss birth preferences, review comfort measures, visualizations for labor, breathing techniques and spinning babies exercise for optimal fetal positioning. Additional visits may be purchased for an additional cost.
· Unlimited phone/text support between the hours of 12pm-5pm during your pregnancy, and 24/7 support in emergency situations.
· I am on call starting at 36 weeks, where I also provide 24/7 text and phone support.
· I remain with you during your birthing time (active labor onward), beginning from the time you ask me to join you. I’m happy to meet at your home or the hospital/birth center.
· I remain with you for up to two hours postpartum, or until breastfeeding is established.
· I provide 24/7 phone/text support for two weeks postpartum, and one postpartum visit 2-3 weeks from your baby’s birth.
· I provide placenta encapsulation services, tinctures and cord keepsakes at an additional cost
My full fee for birth doula services is $1,200 for new clients and $1,100 for repeat clients, broken down as follows:
· $500 due when you hire me as your doula, along with my signed service agreement. This will officially put you on my calendar!
· $700 (new clients) / $600 (repeat) due by 36 weeks

I accept cash, Zelle and Venmo. PayPal and Square payments can be arranged for a 3.5% service fee.
